Let it snow

Je gelooft het niet maar vrijdag zette ik een nieuwe tekst op mijn lightbox…. Let it snow!
En waarachtig, nog dezelfde dag begon het te sneeuwen haha. Toen nog natte sneeuw weliswaar, maar sneeuw 😉
Bij ons ligt er inmiddels een aardig pak, ik hou ervan (zolang ik lekker binnen kan zitten of alleen een wandelingetje kan maken wanneer ik zin heb hihi).
Maar door de grote vallende sneeuwvlokken, de kerstboom en alle kerstversieringen in huis had ik ontzettend veel zin om een leuke sneeuwpop te haken. In ene bedacht ik mij dat ik 2 jaar geleden een superleuk haakpatroon van een sneeuwpop had gewonnen bij een giveaway van Super Cute Design en het was er tot op heden nog steeds niet van gekomen om ‘em te haken. Dus ik ging gelijk tussen mijn bestanden zoeken en ja, daar was ie! Het gewonnen haakpatroon van dit geweldig sneeuwmannetje! Ik haakte hem met Creative Cotton Aran van Rico Design, haaknaald 3 mm.

You don’t believe this but last Friday I put a new text on my lightbox…. Let it snow!
And yeah, the same day it started snowing in Holland! The snow didn’t stay at that moment, but hey it was snow right 😉
Now there’s many snow and I love it (especially when I can stay at home or only go for a walk just for fun lol).
By the falling snowflakes, the Christmas tree and all Christmas decorations at home, I wanted to crochet a lovely snowman. I rembered I won a very cute Snowman crochet pattern at a giveaway hosted by Super Cute Design for 2 years ago yet. I crocheted the Snowman with Creativ Cotton Aran by Rico Design, crochet hook 3 mm.

Nieuw haakboek onderweg / New crochetbook coming soon

Dit is Scraps de Zeemeeuw. Scraps is een haakpatroon van Crochet By Kim en haar leuke Scraps de Zeemeeuw is geselecteerd voor het nieuwe amigurumi haakboek Zoomigurumi 7 van Amigurumipatterns.net
Ik mocht Scraps proefhaken voor de Nederlandse versie van het nieuwe Zoomigurumi boek.
Het is een superleuk patroon om te haken, ik haakte Scraps met Creative Cotton Aran van Rico Design en haaknaald 3 mm. Scraps is met dit garen zittend ca 16 cm geworden.

I was asked to test this lovely pattern for the Dutch version of the new Zoomigurumi book.
I crocheted Scraps with Creative Cotton Aran by Rico Design and crochet hook 3 mm. Scraps measures sitting about 16 cm.

 

Zijn jullie net als ik ook zo fan van de Zoomigurumi boeken? Ik heb ze allemaal en kan gewoon bijna niet wachten tot dit nieuwe exemplaar uit komt 😉

Ezel / Donkey

Deze schattige gehaakte ezel is een nieuw haakpatroon van Kristi Tullus. Ik mocht het patroon voor haar proefhaken. Het haakpatroon van de ezel is heel uitgebreid en duidelijk beschreven en met mooie foto’s verduidelijkt. Deze amigurumi haakte ik met Creative Cotton Aran van Rico Design, ik gebruikte haaknaald 3 mm. Zittend is hij ca 20 cm groot maar hij kan ook staan door zijn beweegbare poten. Staand is hij ca 32 cm groot. Het patroon vind je op Ravelry (KLIK HIER).

This adorable crochet donkey is a new crochetpattern by Kristi Tullus. I was honored to test this crochetpattern for her. The donkey crochetpattern is very extended and clear written, also clearly explained with pictures. I crocheted this amigurumi with Creative Cotton Aran by Rico Design, I used crochet needle 3 mm. Donkey measures sitting about 20 cm. But he can also stand, his legs are movable. Standing he measures about 32 cm. You can find the crochet pattern on Ravelry (CLICK HERE).

Nieuw haakproject / New crochethproject

Nadat ik een flinke keuze had gemaakt over mijn Sophie’s Universe (KLIK HIER) vond ik dat ik wel een nieuw haakproject mag starten. Een deken moest het gaan worden. Ik vond nog zoveel bollen op zolder. En precies op dat moment zag ik via Freubelweb een geweldig patroon voorbij komen! Toeval bestaat niet 😉 Het is een heerlijk patroon deze gehaakte zigzagdeken, lekker haakproject voor de herfstavonden en tijdens het netflixen.

After my big choice about my Sophíe’s Universe (CLICK HERE) I thought I’m allowed to start a new crochetproject now 😉 A crochet blanket again, that’s for sure. At that time I saw a beautiful crochetpattern at Freubelweb. No coincidence 😉 It’s a great pattern this crochet zigzag crochet blanket, it’s a lovely crochetproject for autumn evenings and during netflix.

Loeki de Leeuw

Asjemenou!
Als dit geen jeugdsentiment is…. 😉
Loeki de Leeuw was vroeger een ware tv-held in hele korte filmpjes. Ik vond de korte filmpjes met Loeki geweldig en was fan van Loeki. Dus toen Birdie Haakt mij vroeg of ik haar nieuwe haakpatroon van Loeki de Leeuw voor haar wilde proefhaken, hoefde ik geen moment na te denken! Zo gaaf om te doen.
‘Asjemenou!’ that’s what the Dutch short-movie icon Loeki the Lion always said. Loeki is real youth sentiment for many Dutch people, and he really is for me. So, when Birdie Haakt asked me to test her new crochetpattern of Loeki the Lion, I immediately said yes! I loved making Loeki.

Fleurige mand / Happy basket

Een tijdje geleden kwam ik bij De Haakfabriek supergave manden tegen, een rieten bolmand! Nu heb ik mijn hele leven al een zwak voor tassen en manden, maar deze rieten bolmand was wel ècht supergaaf en die moest ik dan dus ook gelijk kopen. Toen ik de mand kocht was er nog geen pakket of haakpatroon beschikbaar maar dat maakte mij niet uit, de inspiratie liep gelijk al volop, heerlijk. En hier is het resultaat. Ik ben er superblij mee.
A while ago I saw very cool baskets at De Haakfabriek! I love bags and baskets my whole life, but this basket was so cool, I had to buy it immediately. At the time I bought the basket, there wasn’t a crochetbundle or crochetpattern available yet, but I didn’t care because I was inspired by this basket immediately. And this is the result. I’m so happy with my happy basket.

 

Het label van aluminium met wendysmhaaksels is een cadeautje van Maartje van Bites and Beads. Ik ontmoette haar een paar weken geleden op een haakfeestje en zij had voor iedereen zo’n gaaf label gemaakt. Dankjewel Maartje, ik vind ‘em supertof en het maakt mijn mand nog blijer en helemaal af zo 😉
I received the aluminium label with wendysmhaaksels as a present from Maartje by Bites and Beads. I met her a few weeks ago at a crochetparty and she made a label for everyone of us. Thanks again Maartje, I think it makes my basket even more happy and I think it is perfect like this 😉

Ik gebruikte 7 kleuren van het prachtige Scheepjes Stonewashed XL, van alle kleuren heb je genoeg aan 1 bol. Van de hoofdkleur heb je 2,5 bol nodig. Dit garen is perfect voor dit project, het haakt heerlijk, voelt lekker aan en is van een zeer goede kwaliteit, wat voor een gebruiksvoorwerp als deze wel zo handig is. Aangezien ik een strakke hand van haken heb, heb ik haaknaald 5,5 mm gebruikt.
De mand voerde ik met een bijpassend stofje dat ik vorige week met twee vriendinnen in Apeldoorn kocht. We hadden zo’n fantastastische dag, met een high tea en shoppen, met 4 vriendinnen samen, echt zo heerlijk!
I used 7 colors of the beautiful Scheepjes Stonewashed XL yarn, you need 1 skein of yarn of each color and 2,5 skeins of yarn of the basic color. This yarn is perfect for this project, it feels so soft and nice, so many beautiful colors and very good quality. I used a 5,5 mm crochethook.
I covered the inside of the basket with a matching fabric, which I bought last week in Apeldoorn with two friends. We had such an lovely day with an high tea and shopping with four friends together, I love it!

Monster take over ;)

Pas op voor de monsters! Ze komen er aan!! In grote getalen zijn ze onderweg….. En hier is alvast kleine Ella in haar monsterpak. Het haakpatroon is van Little Aqua Girl en komt in het nieuwe haakboek van amigurumipatterns. Een heel haakboek vol met de schattigste en stoerste monsters die je maar kunt bedenken! Van zo’n schattig monster kan natuurlijk niemand bang worden 😉 Superleuk dat ik dit haakpatroon mocht proefhaken, dankjewel Amigurumipatterns en Little Aqua Girl voor deze eer.
Watch out for the monsters! They’re coming!! Lots of them are on their way….. And here she is: little Ella in her monster suite. The crochetpattern is made by Little Aqua Girl and will be released in the new crochetbook of amigurumipatterns. A crochetbook filled with the most lovely and sturdy monsters you can imagine. But nobody will  be scared of by this little cute one I think 😉 I was honored to test this crochetpatten, thank you Amigurumipatterns and Little Aqua Girl for this honor, I loved it.

Beer Tessy / Bear Tessy

Is het echt al weer zoooo lang geleden dat ik iets plaatste? Jeetje…. Het is niet zo dat ik niks gedaan heb, echt niet. Maar het was hier vooral heel hectisch. Eigenlijk al heel lang…. En ja, eerlijk is eerlijk, dan schiet bij mij mijn eigen blog er als eerste bij in. Op mijn Instagram account (KLIK) is dan een foto snel geplaasts terwijl ik voor mijn blog echt achter de computer moet. Dat is voor mij toch even een verschil. But anyway…. In de tussentijd heb ik meerder projecten gemaakt! En ook mogen proefhaken, want ook dat gaat (gelukkig) gewoon door. Niet alle projecten kan ik laten zien, sommige patronen liggen nog bij ontwerpers die daar nog weer mee aan de slag gaan voordat het patroon online komt, maar dat wordt zeker nog vervolgd. Echt, dat beloof ik bij deze 😉
Really, is it such a long time ago? Wow! It isn’t I didn’t do anything, believe me 😉 But there is so much going on in my life, for such a long time now…. And, frankly, blogging is the first thing I skip. On my Instagramaccount (CLICK) I can post my pics faster by using my Phone, by blogging I always need to use my computer. It really makes a big difference to me. But anyway… In the meantime I made several projects! And I was also honored to test several lovely patterns, so that continues too and it makes me so happy to do. I can’t  show you evething yet, some patterns are back at the designers to worked out in detail before they are for sale, but it will be continued on my blog too, I promiss 😉

Mini Beer / Mini Bear

Dit schattige gehaakte beertje mocht ik mhaken namens de klas van mijn dochter. Een zwangere leerkracht zou met zwangerschapsverlof gaan en de klas wilde graag een cadeautje geven. Hoe lief! Gekozen werd voor het haakpatroon van mini beer Bram van Stip en Haak (KLIK). In neutrale kleurtjes natuurlijk, want het geslacht is nog niet bekend 😉

I was asked by the class of my daughter to crochet this sweet little bear as a baby gift for a pregnant teacher. How sweet! They choose the crochetpattern of mini bear Bram by Stip en Haak (CLICK). In natural colours of course, as the gender of the baby is unknown yet 😉

Het knuffeldoekje maakte ik op verzoek voor een lieve vriendin van mijn dochter en zij geeft het knuffeldoekje aan dezelfde leerkracht! Hoe leuk is dat!!! Dit geweldige stel is nu dus nog even gescheiden maar komt uiteindelijk weer net zo liefdevol samen 💕

Remi en zijn aapje Joli-Coeur

Wie is er niet groot geworden met het indrukwekkende verhaal van Alleen op de Wereld van Hector Malot….?! Voor mij is het wederom een stuk jeugdsentiment. 
Dit prachtige patroon van Remi met zijn aapje Joli-Coeur mocht ik in januari van dit jaar proefhaken en het patroon is nu te koop. Het uitwerken van het haakpatroon was bij de ontwerpster wegens drukte in haar privéleven wat langer blijven liggen maar nu mag ik ook hier met trots Remi en zijn Joli-Coeur laten zien. En zeg nou zelf, dit prachtige patroon is het wachten toch dubbel en dwars waard?! Ik hou van die nostalgische figuurtjes vol jeugdsentiment.
Who doesn’t know the story of Nobody’s Boy by Hector Malot….?! It’s a great part of my youth.
